Green Bay, Wis. – Schneider National, a premier provider of transportation, logistics and intermodal services and a company well known for its orange-colored fleet, has been going green for more than 30 years. On the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, the company will be named the “Green Fleet of the Year” by Fleet Owner magazine.
The award presentation will be followed by a live demonstration of Schneider’s latest sustainable technology, the Deflecktor Aero Wheel Cover. Upon implementation to the entire Schneider fleet of over 12,000 trucks, the wheel covers will help the company save an additional 1.8 million gallons of fuel annually. More . . .
